PORTRAIT N°9 - TAYLOR NILSSON
Interview of Taylor Nilsson. Taylor comes from Sweden, she is 17, the passion for football has rocked her since her childhood.
When did you start playing football?
I started playing soccer when I was 6 years old. I come from a family of footballers. My father played football in France at a high level, and also in Sweden. My mother played soccer for a long time and my two brothers also play.
Which club do you play in?
I played in Kållered SK for 10 years (the home team where I live in Gothenburg, Sweden) and after that I decided to play more seriously. I did a year with Kungsbacka DFF - F17 an academy team, where the A team played in the Women's Premier League. Now I play at JITEX, in the highest F19 National division. Team A play in the first division, and I also train with them. Next year, things are not decided yet, I might stay at JITEX and evolved in Team A or be transferred in an other club. I will let you know :)
How do you feel when you play?
When I play, I feel joy, passion, I want to become even better. I am competitive, and motivated.
Your best memory? Or competition?
It's hard to choose, all games are great memories, And I have a lot of good times ahead of me.
Your best memory off the field?
In Sweden there is a big tournament every year, the Gothia Cup, which is the biggest in the world, where I have participated several times. At the start of the tournament there is a traditional grand opening, in the large stadium in Gothenburg, where all participating teams come. There are artists on stage, we get to know other teams, and we have a lot of fun. We play against teams from all over the world for a week. .
Do you have a player you love the most ?
I admire the girls in the France team, especially Amel Majri and Delphine Cascarino.
The music you are listening to motivate you (if it is the case)?
I listen to a little of everything, I love music. I listen to a lot of Swedish RAPs before games.
The woman who inspires you the most?
My mom, she supports me and she believes in me. She inspires me to become a good woman.
What is your dream ?
To become a professional footballer, and to play in France. And be taken in the French team or in the Swedish team.
